FAQ: Live Broadcast Setups

 Live broadcast setups are great for corporate events, special occasions, holiday parties, sporting events, and more.

The final balance is due upon our arrival before we begin to set up.

Yes, we require a two-hour minimum for Live Broadcast Setup services.

We arrive approximately 2 hours before the start time of any event to set up our equipment.

If you book several options from us, such as a DJ, 360 photo booth rental, and live broadcast setup, we will usually arrive 2.5-3 hours before the start time of the event. If we need to arrive earlier than 2 hours and it is not a multiple-services booking, there may be an additional charge.

 It depends on the needs of your event. We typically have three to four people at every Live Broadcast Event that we do, but sometimes, just three people are available. We may have additional people come early to help us set up, but by the

start time, only three to four people will be at the entire event.

We bring all the equipment we need for every event we provide services for. For the Live Broadcast Setups, we simply need an 8X8 area to set up near a standard power outlet. We will bring our 6-foot table and table cover, or a linen can also be placed on the table.

 Depending on the needs of your event, the setup can take anywhere from 60 minutes up to 2-3 hours or more. Most weddings and events that we’ve done in venues take about 60-90 minutes to set up. Breakdown takes about one hour (or more if using multiple systems).

We do not charge extra for setup; your time starts when the music starts, not when we arrive to set up. You are also not charged for breakdown time, either.

Exception: If you need us to set up earlier than 2 hours or break down later than one hour after the event ends, there is an additional charge. Example: The event starts at 5 pm, and we’d normally arrive at 3 pm to set up, but you need the live broadcast setup to set up at 12 pm. Many companies do not include setup/breakdown time and charge additional fees for this time. Again, we do not do this unless it is the above exception.

We always dress appropriately for the occasion. Typically, our staff will wear black pants or jeans and a black polo (or black t-shirt for casual events) with black shoes. For outdoor summer events, we have company white polos with black pants or jeans (or black and white t-shirts for casual events). If we need to dress more formally, please let us know, and we will make sure we dapper up for your event.

Please Note: When our team is setting up before the wedding or event, our staff will wear black or white MSE t-shirts only and then change into the appropriate uniform before the event begins.

Though most bands will take breaks at events, we do not take breaks. We will have a chair next to us and sit down, if needed. Being on your feet at events all day can be tough.

We do request a vendor meal for any wedding or event that is 4 hours or longer. We ask this because our staff will arrive 2 hours before the start time of any event and break down for about 1 hour after an event, which is a 7-hour day for us.

Our cancellation policy states that all deposits are non-refundable. We will apply your deposit towards any future event if you have a signed contract. We will, however, refund 100% of any payments made toward the balance, outside of the

deposit.
